Community Development and Planning Services is responsible for planning, development, and land use related issues in the City of Dawson. Planning and land use decisions are carried out in accordance with all local, territorial, and federal regulations while taking into account the needs, desires and opinions of residents.
High level decision making is made in accordance with the Official Community Plan Bylaw, the Zoning Bylaw, Heritage Bylaw, Dawson City Heritage Management Plan, and other applicable bylaws, policies and plans.
